Summary/Objective:  The Recruiting Coordinator will be responsible for full cycle recruiting for Samtec’s U.S. locations.    
Essential Functions/Responsibilities:
  • Manage the student/co-op program for all areas, including attendance at job fairs, campus career days, etc.
  • Work with hiring managers and schedule pre-recruiting meetings to be sure all the needs and wants are understood before searching.
  • Source, contact, and research potential passive candidates that might meet the requirements.
  • Schedule phone and in person interviews, gather follow-up information from hiring managers for follow-up to candidates.
  • Interview job applicants to obtain information on work history, training, education, or job skills.
  • Place ads on various social media outlets, websites, etc.
  • When necessary, arrange travel for candidates out of the area to interview, tour, etc.
  • Maintain current knowledge of Equal Employment Opportunity (EEO), affirmative action, OFCCP and other guidelines and laws.
  • Develop and implement recruiting strategies to meet current or anticipated staffing needs.
  • Travel 25%.

Required/Preferred Experience:
  • 2 – 5 Years’ Recruiting Experience.  Agency experience is preferred.
  • Sourcing & Boolean knowledge is desired.
  • Experience in Applicant Tracking Systems (ATS) systems; Jobvite is preferred.
  • Must have great communication skills as this person will be interacting with all levels of the organization.
  • Must have great organizational & Time Management skills.
  • Must be able to handle multiple projects simultaneously as priorities can change very quickly.
  • Must be able to sit/stand for at least 90 consecutive minutes, and not suffer from any sensory deprivation and/or paralysis of the limbs.
Preferred Education:
  • Bachelors of Science in Human Resources, Business, or equivalent.
